Beautiful Gourds

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

Our Holiday Gallery, 53 North Main Street, will only be open for a few more days, and one display not to be missed is Cheryl Peck’s gourds. Cheryl is a photographer, writer, and, of course, our Guild president; but those amazing gourds defy description. Each one is a living thing, with embellishments that reflect the essence of the gourd’s inherent and natural beauty. Come to the Holiday Gallery and chat with Cheryl about her work, she is there most days, keeping the rest of us on track!

Tad Trimnell Show in Sturgis

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

Tad Trimnell currently has a wonderful show of his paintings hanging at the Boundary Waters Cafe in Sturgis, spread the word.

I went to see where the cafe was on the recommendation of Carol Dugan, who has also shown work there. It is downtown, on the south side of the street, and I have it on good authority that their tomato-basil soup is very good!
